As a Casual Sushi Shopify Developer, you use your Shopify Customization, Themes, and Integrations expertise to develop mind-blowing optimized and revenue-driving e-commerce sites for our clients. You are part of a creative global remote team.
What you'll do
Your purpose will be to develop interactive and competent Shopify Stores for our clients. You'll generate custom Shopify Themes and modify pre-existing templates based on defined brand benchmarks. As part of your job, you'll interact with Designers, Project Managers, Tech Leads, and Clients to develop exclusive, innovative, and robust user experiences. You'll ensure a seamless connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize the store.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Understanding the client's e-commerce needs, and making sure the design guidelines, brand colors, website copy, and/or a logo are used correctly.
- Working with existing templates and building bespoke sections and functionalities based upon designs wireframes.
- Migrating e-commerce Stores to Shopify.
- Testing and debugging websites for better performance.
- Using version controls for Shopify Theme development.
- Optimizing the online store for increased conversion rates.
- Applying your extensive knowledge of Recharge, Payment Gateways, and API's/GraphQL
- Ensuring the websites work flawlessly on any device.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting Shopify Stores.
- Meeting delivery deadlines.
What job skills & qualifications you'll have:
- 2+ years of experience working within the Shopify platform
- Strong programming knowledge of “Liquid” for Shopify Stores and Shopify Themes is a must-have. You also need to know HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience working with Tailwind CSS
- Understand PHP, JavaScript, and JQuery.
- Have extensive knowledge of the platform’s APIs and integrations.
